The unique roofline of this former service station catches the eye of the motorist entering Le Mars from the north. The gas station was constructed about 1930, the windmill roof testifying to the Dutch heritage of the people in NW Iowa. Only one of the blade supports is visible today. The building is now an auto repair center; in the interim it spent time as Jimbo’s Bait and Tackle.
