DuBois Park is located at California Street and Palo Alto Drive. The park and the neighborhood were named for the DuBois family. Lloyd DuBois was the owner of the 'Independent,' one of Vancouver's early newspapers. He also owned the DuBois Lumber Company and considerable real estate. W.B. DuBois, also a businessman, was a sponsor of the Interstate Bridge. The park is undeveloped. It has picnic tables, shade areas, and hiking/fitness trail.
