This trail head is located at the end of Dry Brook Rd in Seager, NY. It has multiple purposes. Some use it for short hikes to nearby falls. Others use it as a start point for a few of the Catskill 3500 peaks.

Nearby peaks accessible from this trail head are Eagle Mt, Big Indian Mt and Fir Mt (bushwhacked from Big Indian). Graham Mt and Doubletop Mt are nearby but I'm not sure they are not along the trail itself.

The first couple miles of this trail have slight elevation gain on a old hunting camp road. The trail gains 125 feet in elevation over 3 miles. The trail follows along a stream with various little falls. It's said in the spring and after heavy rain storms that the trail could be impassible.

Two miles into the trail there is the Shandaken Brook Lean-to. After another mile the trail ends at the a junction with Pine Hill-West Branch Trail.
