St. Johann church is located in the pedestrian zone in the historic center of Schaffhausen. The sundial is located at the wall above the southern side entrance. It has a sun with a face in the center and the year 1665 on top. In the plate there are the years 1872 and 1557. According to Wikipedia the church was built around 1000 and was last renovated in 1990; I could not find any hints for the meanings of the years in the sundial.
