This monument sits on the ground of the 'old' Boulder County Courthouse. It reads, "In Honor of the World War Veterans of Boulder County." The monument was placed by the Nathaniel Lyon Women's Relief Corps No. 27 of Boulder, Colorado. The monument is about 20' (6.09 m) tall made of gray granite. There is an engraving of a typical World War (I) soldier with his rifle.
