A new 22kW solar array put in on SUNY Delhi's Campus. The long description is what the nearby sign says (although I took a picture of the sign, it's hard to read).

Through a grant from the New York Energy and Research Development Authority (NYSERDA, this site will soon begin construction for a Solar Electric (Photovoltaic) grid-tied array.

The array will consist of 100 solar panels mounted on pole-top racks. A total system size of 22,500 (22.5 kW) watts is expected to generate between 16-22% of the annual energy output of the electrical trades building at SUNY Delhi, or 4-6% energy for the entire technology complex. Construction is projected for completion in August.
Type of system: Photovoltaic (electrical)
