Virtually all government buildings in Thailand possess a Buddhist shrine, and the town government offices for the provincial capital city of Krabi is no exception. This shrine faces the road outside the government offices.
The shrine appears new and well designed. The seated Buddha is the central and highest image, and there is a prayer area in front of the shrine. Due to the location, the offices are just outside the town on a busy traffic intersection, there seem to be few visitors to the shrine, perhaps only those citizens who find that they are required to present themselves at the city government offices?
Krabi city and province lie on the west coast of southern Thailand. A region of small towns, quiet villages, and beaches.
