Ceský popis

Prvne se s kostelem sv. Jirí setkáváme v roce 1352, kdy je zmínen v rejstrících papežských desátku. Jeho pravdepodobný vznik se klade do 1. poloviny 14. století. Došlo zde k pozdejšim úpravám v období baroka. Kostel je vzácným pripadem dochované lidové gotické stavby, která je vymalována malbami ponekud rustikálního charakteru. Jejich pravdepodobný vznik je kladen do tretí ctvrtiny 14. století.

Obdélná lod kostela je plochostropá, na niž navazuje užší, prícne protáhlé presbyterium s žebrovou krížovou klenbou. K severní stene presbyteria priléhá valene zaklenutá sakristie.

Recické malby se dochovaly v lodi i presbyteriu. Severní stenu lodi pokrývají výjevy Boje sv. Jirí s drakem, sv. Kryštofa a Umucení sv. Erasma. Vlevo na východní stene se nachází obraz Zázracného rybolovu a vpravo fragment se Smrtí Panny Marie. Knežište obíhá dole úzký pás s postavami proroku a sibyl. V okenní zóne je znázornena rada svetcu, na severu prerušená Ukrižováním a na východe Posledním soudem. Scéna Posledního soudu vrcholí výjevem Krista trunícího na duze, nacházejícím se v klenební kápi. Na klenbe se dále nalézají symboly ctyr evangelistu a vyobrazení slunce a mesíce. V koutech knežište jsou ješte vymalovány ctyri mužské postavy bez svatozárí, pravdepodobne jde o cyklus ctyr živlu.

English description

The St.George's church is firstly mentioned in registers of papal tithes in 1352. The likely emergence of the first places to mid-14th century. There are adjustments in the later Baroque period. The church is a rare case of folk surviving Gothic building which is decorated with paintings somewhat rustic character. Their probable origin is placed in the third quarter of the 14th century.

Rectangular nave is a flat ceiling, which builds on a narrower, transversely elongated presbytery with a ribbed cross vault. The northern wall of the presbytery adjoining barrel vaulted sacristy.

Chatter paintings are preserved in the nave and the presbytery. North wall of the boat cover scenes struggles St. George and the Dragon, vol. St. Kitts and Passion. Erasmus. Left on the eastern side of the picture is miraculous catch of fish and the right fragment of the Death of the Virgin Mary. The chancel orbits narrow strip down the figures of prophets and sibyl. The window shows the zone number of saints, the Crucifixion interrupted the north and east of the Last Judgement. The scene culminates in a scene of the Last Judgement of Christ enthroned on the rainbow, located in the vault hood. The vault also found four evangelists symbols and images of the sun and moon. The corners of the chancel are still painted with four male characters without a halo, probably a series of four elements.
