A big log that has been carved into a set of seats and a otter at one end.

The method is likely to have been chainsaws to get the basic shapes, and then hammer and chisel to get the details out of the log.

The otter is a common river and pond lurker in mid Wales but in the UK is becoming endangered.

Unfortunately the artist didn't leave any initials and the nearby signs have no mention of the sculpture/seat.
Artist: Unknown

Date Placed: In last few years as the nature reserve opened recently.

Materials Used:
Wood
