The house at 736 Palisado Avenue is a good example of a French Second Empire style dwelling built in the mid 19th century. The house features a mansard roof and towers. The house contrasts with its older 18th century homes at 773 and 788 Palisado. The earliest known owner of this house is John Kelley, about 1885. The house is in very good condition and continues to serve as a single family home.
