In the pedestrian zone in the center of Bad Säckingen you can find this colorful sundial at the wall of a restaurant.
The painting above the sundial shows Adam and Eve standing at the tree with the snake (and an owl, I don't remember the owl in that story...). The restaurant is called Eden. The sundial was first and the new owners decided to call their new restaurant after the picture on the wall in 2007.
There is something wrong with that sundial. At least in early July the plate is partially in the shadow at noon. Maybe it is working better in other seasons.
