This historic post office building, built in 1935 as a Public Works Project, now houses the Kingman City Engineering Department. It was placed on the National Register of Historic Places on May 14, 1986 (NRIS 86001173)

U.S. Post Office
Built 1935

A monument to massive federal building programs during the 1930s, construction of
the post office represents the first major Federal construction in Kingman. Its
completion was a major event in the town. The building is constucted of concrete and
stucco with arched windows, a Period Revival stle with Italianate influences.
