Old Borough boundary between Malden and Coombe & and Epsom & Ewell. Since the boundaries were changed in the sixties this is effectively a boundary between Surrey and Greater London.

Turn out of Worcester Park Station, head South West down The Avenue, past the Baptist Church and you will suddenly be in Surrey.
Take a step back and you are in London, forward Surrey, back London. Enough of this nonsense.
I never sought this waymark out, it found me as I walked away from the church.
I had to take some coords (don’t we all have a GPSr handy when we go to church) and some pictures.
I can’t find much out about this particular type of post but I know more exist in this area.
When I find them, I’ll let you know.
