This sign is not at any location on the Arizona border, but at a location well within the interior of the state. It greets you as you leave the Grand Canyon National Park Airport just outside Tusayan, Arizona. It assumes that many (or most) of the people arriving here by air come from somewhere outside the state of Arizona, so they need an official welcome to the state. It would completely amaze me if any other airport in Arizona sports such a sign
