Tämä vuonna 1906 valmistunut majakka sijaitsee Suomen eteläisimmällä luodolla Hangon lähellä. Majakka on 52 m merenpinnan yläpuolella. Vierailulle pääsee ainakin Kasnäsistä ja Hangosta tai sitten omalla veneellä. Majakassa toimii kahvio ja kierreportaita pääsee kiipeämään ylös valohuoneeseen. Majakka on auki 1.6.-31.8. klo 10-19.
Alkukesästä luoto on täynnä haahkan pesiä ja niitä pitääkin varoa. Haahkojen päälle voi kirjaimellisesti astua pesintäaikaan jos on liikkuessan varomaton.
The lighthouse was constructed in 1906. It's situated in the most southern island of Finland and is 52 meters above sealevel. You can travel there from Kasnäs or Hanko or by own boat. There's a coffee house and you can climb the stairs up in the lightroom. Lighthouse is open for visitors 1.6. - 31.8. from 10 am to 7 pm.
Early in the summer the island is full of common eiders' nests so be careful not to step on them.
