The memorial consists of a white cross with a plaque at its base. Behind the cross are three flagpoles bearing the United States flag, the State of Florida flag, and a POW-MIA flag that includes the words "You Are Not Forgotten."
The plaque reads: "In Loving Memory of Those gone but not Forgotten by Relatives and Friends Dedicated March 28, 2002."
