This ROW marker is on the east side of Utah Highway 9 just west of the south entrance to Zion National Park.

This Right of Way marker is about 25 feet from the east edge of Utah Highway 9 and about 100 yards south of the Zion National Park entrance sign. It is an open patch of decomposed granite near the top of the embankment above the lower Park Visitor Center parking lot. It is set in the top of a concrete column that is about 8 inches in diameter and about 12 inches above ground level.

The elevation shown on the marker seems to be in error for this location. GPS indicates an elevation 560 feet lower and Springdale, which is only slightly lower than this marker has an official elevation of 3898 feet.
