The town of Holland pays tribute to Windmills of The Netherlands with this 42 foot high windmill. It's illuminated at night.
The plaque by the windmill gives the actual 'source' of the town name.
The Town of Holland
is named after
Mr. Arthur Charles Holland.
Arthur Holland
was of English descent
and settled in the area in 1881
as Holland's first postmaster.
