The Leeds Liverpool canal is the longest canal in Northern England.
Waymark Code: WMBPJN

It is 127 miles long and flows from the inland woollen town of Leeds to the coastal sea port of Liverpool, crossing the Pennines along the way.
This milestone has been damaged and the names of the towns have been removed. I know the destination because I posted waymark WMBPD1which is 2 miles to the west and so can work them out.
At this point the milepost is 11.25 miles from the start at Leeds and 116 miles from the port of Liverpool.
Somehow it’s gained an extra ¼ mile in length.
This milestone is near Buck Hill swing bridge.
