This “Double Aster” quilt block can best be viewed from Hwy. 3 even though it is across a field in the distance. The red and brown combination contrasts well against the white barn to catch a passing motorist’s eye. The farm is on a gravel road north of Hwy. 3, but farm buildings block its view as one approaches the barn. “Double Aster” is listed as #21 on the Plymouth County Barn Quilt map.
