The Duchesne Ranger District office has information on the many recreational and other opportunities of the Ashley National Forest in the Uinta Mountains. This forest ranger district is a four-season destination. In the summer, the great mountainous terrain and abundant lakes & streams invite visitors to hike, camp, fish, ride mountain bikes, backpack and ride off-highway vehicles. During the winter, the quality snow draws back country skiers, and snowmobiling. Check out the office for lists of activities, current conditions of roads, camping locations, hiking trails and most anything you need to know for outdoor fun. They have a great friendly staff to help you.
