Trang town is one of the far southern towns and provinces of Thailand. Near the town centre is the province and town governmental precinct, and outside the provincial hall (province admin) is this fountain.

The fountain runs along a road divider on the Rama 6 road. It consists of a centrepiece of two 'traditional' looking Thai children playing in water with a dugong. Dugongs are a town icon, there being a dugong protected zone in the province. I did check and the fountain is in operation, usually in the early evening and on public holidays.
