You find this marker along the Echo reservoir on the side of the road. Don't blink, you might miss it!
Echo Reservoir, formed in 1930, is a boating and fishing paradise. Below the dam is the town of Echo, known for its historic church and post office. Echo Canyon has long been a corridor from high Wyoming plains to Great Basin for buffalo, natives, the Donner party, Mormon pioneers, Pony Express, the transcontinental telegraph and railroad, Lincoln Highway and today's Interstate 80.
