The Echo Welcome Center is a pull-off rest area for motorists, serving I-80 southbound travelers coming into Utah from Wyoming. Restroom facilities, pay phones, vending machines, and free Wi-Fi Internet are accessible 24 hours a day, seven days a week. The large grounds surrounding the center have shaded picnic areas.
Inside the welcome center is a staffed visitor information area, open seven days a week, closing only for major holidays. Hours of operation vary with the seasons, but it is generally open during daylight hours.
Tourism specialists are on hand to help you plan your trip, give directions, and offer suggestions for activities during your stay. They have information on seasonal events such as rodeos, festivals, and resort snow conditions. Brochures, guides, and maps describe attractions in all parts of Utah. Up-to-the-minute data is available on road closures, weather forecasts, and other traffic-related issues.
