The memorial stands on a grass area in front of the gatehouse to North Mymms Park. The memorial takes the form of a simple cross of octagonal section on an octagonal shaft. The whole stands on an octagonal plinth, with inscriptions on six of the sides. World War 1 and 2 inscriptions are on opposite sides of the plinth, with names to either side of the inscriptions. The memorial stands on three octagonal steps raised on a square platform.
