Beggs Cemetery is about a mile west of town just south of Highway 16. This is a long, narrow cemetery which has a paved roadway going south a quarter-mile, making a loop and returning to the highway. The cemetery is well maintained and pleasant to the eye. There are approximately 1200 burials here.
This WOW headstone is the traditional tree stump variety. The stump is tall with two small branches either side of the seal. It is leaning slightly. The stump is mounted on two horizontal logs which are engraved with a lily and leaves.
The inscription reads:
