Beggs Cemetery is about a mile west of town south of Highway 16. This is a long, narrow cemetery which runs north-south. A paved roadway travels from the north entrance about a quarter mile south, makes a loop and returns to the highway.
The cemetery is well maintained and neatly laid out, with just under 1200 burials. We noted one Woodmen of the World headstone, but there may be others we missed.
