This marker was placed in 1914 and reads in part: A tribute to the Heros of the American Revolution who by their bravery, loyalty to principle and devotion to the cause of human rights founded the United States of America which, in the year eighteen Hundred and Forty-Eight, aquired that great territory of which the State of Utah is now a part.
This tablet is erected by the Utah Society of the Sons of the American Revolution
