There is nothing particularly notable about this gun (that I was led to believe anyway), but as a child and that was quite a few years ago, I played here all the time. I'd get in the seat of the gun and pretend to be shooting planes out of the sky. We'd also pretend to shoot the other various artillery pieces around, but they weren't nearly as cool as this gun. I've always wanted to put a geocache here, but the federal government frowns upon such things on their property, but do accept people visiting the grounds for visits of old artillery history.
