Roselawn officially began on May 25, 1919 and the first burial took place February 4, 1920. The cemetery currently has over 22,000 graves. The cemetery is well landscaped. It was the first perpetual care cemetery in Arkansas, and now has the largest perpetual care fund of any cemetery in Arkansas.
