Though not an official part of the Greene County Barn Quilt tour, this barn art would classify more in the “pieced quilt” category. It reminds me of a quilt pattern book that I have used, “Go Wild with Quilts” which has numerous animals and birds pieced together to create a mural-like effect. The family on this farm painted their own design to share with those driving by. “Noah’s Ark” is located on J Avenue west of Jefferson.
Your Visit:
My husband’s cousin is the chairperson for the Greene County Barn Quilts, and it was a special thrill to have our own personal guided tour. Her special stories added a lot to our enjoyment of these barn quilts.
