Even the Jefferson’s Milligan Elevator got into the barn quilt project with their red, white, and blue, “County Fair” quilt. The block hangs on the north side of the grain elevator which faces the road for easy viewing. It is located on E-53, the old Lincoln Highway, on the east side of Jefferson. It is #31 on the Greene County Barn Quilt map.
Your Visit:
My husband’s cousin is the chairperson for the Greene County Barn Quilts, and it was a special thrill to have our own personal guided tour. Her special stories added a lot to our enjoyment of these barn quilts.
