The red basket holding this cactus, complements the red roof of this picturesque wooden barn. Actually there are two “Cactus Basket” quilts on this barn, the other an identical image mounted on the other end of the barn. The farm and quilts may be seen on 140th Street just west of Churdan and are listed as #11 on the Greene County Barn Quilt map.
Your Visit:
My husband’s cousin is the chairperson for the Greene County Barn Quilts, and it was a special thrill to have our own personal guided tour. Her special stories added a lot to our enjoyment of these barn quilts.
