There are no islands near the 100 Island Resort, but it is a pleasant name for a pleasant three or so star hotel/resort. At the main entrance to this resort is situated a small fountain. Simple in design, a circular pool, a single central jet projecting water upwards, surrounded by a small garden. Not much, but it is the best example of a fountain I have seen so far in the city of Surat Thani.
The resort lies ~6kms due west of the town, which in turn is ~600kms due south of Bangkok. A large sign for the resort is visible along the road. The fountain can be reached from the resort carpark.
