The marker and building are located at the intersection of Columbia Turnpike and Ridgedale Avenues. There are several commemerative plaques including a World War II memorial. A plaque notes that the building was repositioned in 1978 and has sered as a museum and meeting hall for the town. Also on the grounds is a World War memorial.
