The Montedor Lighthouse is the northernmost coast of the mainland Portuguese and is also one of the most interesting examples of national headlights that are found along the Portuguese coast.

PT - O Farol de Montedor localiza-se num promontório no lugar de Montedor, a cerca de 4 milhas náuticas a Norte do foz do rio Lima e a 7 milhas a Sul da foz do rio Minho, na freguesia de Carreço, cidade e distrito de Viana do Castelo, em Portugal. É o farol mais setentrional do país e entrou em funcionamento em 20 de Março de 1910.

Possuiu torre quadrangular em cantaria de granito com altura de 28 metros (103 metros de altitude acima do nível do mar). Grande edifício anexo em forma de 'U'. Lanterna e varandim de serviço pintados de vermelho.

ENG - The Montedor Lighthouse is located on a promontory in place Montedor, about 4 nautical miles north of the mouth of the River Lima and 7 miles south of the mouth of the river Minho, in the parish of Carreço, town and district of Viana do Castelo In Portugal. It is the northernmost lighthouse in the country and began operation on March 20, 1910.

Owned square tower in granite stone with a height of 28 meters (103 feet above sea level). Great annex building in the shape of 'U'. Lantern service and balcony painted red.
