Hollywood—Prachinburi, Thailand. - Neon Signs on Waymarking.com

Prachinburi is a small town 80kms or so east of Bangkok. A province of rice farmers and light industry. This karaoke place is next to the town bus station, and surrounded by other venues offering 'relax' services (snooker, drinks, cards—pic in gallery). As the story would go, on weekends one or two farmers would bring the village rice or whatever into town for trans-shipment. Then they would visit a Buddhist temple (as they would tell their wives), and then drop in here for a few hours, have a few beers, look at a few pretty girls sing, and then go home. The joys of married life.

The 'Hollywood' sign is above the main entrance. I visited during the day, thus I was not able to ascertain in truth that the sign was operational, however, as it is the sole karaoke place in town, and the leading example of nightlife activity, it is likely that it is functional.
