The Riverton Senior Center is a brand new facility, operated by the Salt Lake County Aging Services. It celebrated it's Grand Opening on April 4, 2011. The opening included lunch, live entertainment, and tours of the facility.
The Center offers workshops, presentations, lunch daily, bus trips, and classes, such as Pottery, painting, jewelry making, memoir writing, tai chi, computer basics, scrapbooking, and stamping, among many others.
The facility is equipped with a fitness center, activity room, and the computer lab is equipped with the latest state-of-the-art technology.
