This church is also known as the ' Marble Church '
This church was dedicated to St. Margaret, and erected at a cost of sixty thousand pounds by Lady Willoughby de Broke in memory of her husband.
The foundation stone was laid by Lady Willoughby de Broke on the 24th July 1856; and the church was consecrated by the Bishop of St. Asaph on the 23rd August 1860.
