Old Wadena Historical and Environmental County Park has a long history. The site was home to Native Americans, was the original townsite for the City of Wadena, and also was home to Fur Trade Rendevous. Now the park is a campsite, picnic area, canoe stop and launch, hiking trail and more. The site is on the National Register of Historic Places. Nice rural area, scenic and rustic. Information signs detail the flora and history of the area.
