The remains of these fishing boats are located at the mouth of the Bugang River in the Province of Antique, on the island of Panay, Philippines. Probably these were wrecked in 2008 when Typhoon Fengshen (Frank) hit the Vasayas.

The Bugang River, which has one both national and international awards as the cleanest inland waterway in the Philippines, forms a large, protected lagoon at is mouth offering natural protection for the fishing boats in the region. During times of storms, many of the local boats seek safe harbor here, but the powerful winds of Typhoon Fengshen (also nicknamed "Frank") proved too much for this boats.

The best way to view this shipwrecks is to take one of the four-hour trips up the Bugang River from nearby Phaidon Resort. There are other tour operators, and there is also access to these riverside villages from the main road.
