This memorial was erected by the citizens of St. James Santee Parish and is on the side of the road in a small park. The central column is flanked lower tables and list the names of those that served. The central figure is an eagle with wings held high and arrows clutched in its claws. The dates 1941 – 1945 are below the eagle.
