This station is a USC&GS and State Survey disk located in Townsend, MA. Located in the Townsend Harbor section of Townsend, it is set into the south side of the east abutment of a railroad bridge located just northwest of an antique shop named The Cooperage. The location is at the junction of South Street, Spaulding Street, and Main Street (Route 119), off the southwest corner of the junction. From Main street, turn onto South Street, then turn right into the Cooperage parking lot, then walk to the railroad bridge (B&M No. 44.17) and the station on the left.
