The highway leading west from Bangkok to Nakon Pathom (Phetkasem Rd) has, as an aid to travellers heading into and out of the Big Mango (as Bangkok is affectionately known), a large, freestanding, clock in the middle of the highway. The Rotary sign immediately above the clock suggests that this was the organisation which prompted the construction of the clock.
This yellow clock is highly visible, and would indeed be useful, except for one drawback, it is correct only twice a day.
It is difficult to waymark, as there is no parking in the immediate area, one must drive along a side street to be able to park.
