This late 17th century building is constructed in the attractive ironstone of the area. It has two storeys and was previously known as The Manor House including in Pevsner's book of Northamptonshire.

The house stands opposite the village green and has some large trees in the garden. Both the house and garden wall are Grade II Listed.
