The Hot Springs High School was built in 1914 and received an addition in 1925. The building was constructed in a Late Gothic Revival style and was designed by the architectural firm of Sanguinet & Staats. When a new high school was built the building then became the Central Junior High. After the junior high school closed the building sat vacant for several years until it was converted to loft apartments.

President Bill Clinton attend high school in the building where he was in the class of 1964.
