This is a large memorial dedicated to the area Veterans.

This memorial is laid out in a long graceful arc.
You can stroll along the path and look at each granite marker and read the names of those who served from World War I, up to Afghanistan. You also can sit on one of several benches along the path and just reflect on what you are looking at.
In the center of the memorial is a flag pole with a granite slab on the left that has the name of the memorial on it. On the right side of the flag pole is another granite slab with bronze and black emblems of the six branches of the service.
The memorial is located on the east side of the Litchfield Public Library.
It is a rather new memorial, but no date of dedication could be found.

Description of Memorial: The memorial is located in the center of Litchfield, at the Litchfield Carnegie Library.
The grounds at the library are very nice. They give the memorial a good setting in wich to visit.
The whole area is kept neat and clean.
This is a well planned and thought out memorial.
