This large figure of a cowboy, typifying the American Southwest and our pioneer heritage, is visible for quite some distance. It is particularly visible from Bullhead City on the Arizona side of the Colorado river.
The Pioneer Hotel & Gambling Hall was one of the early casinos in Laughlin and some of the facilities are beginning to show their age. But the money machine of the casino and a large number of rooms, the Pioneer should continue in business for some time.
