This is a small memorial dedicated to those who lost their lives during the wars our nation has endured. It is a simple memorial, but yet it is effective. It makes you stop and think that these people gave ALL that one could possibly give so that we may have our freedom.

Who Put it Here?: Citizens from the Litchfield area.
Description of Memorial: The Memorial is located on the Northwest lawn area at the Public Library, located in downtown Litchfield.
It is a simple pyramidal shaped monument that stands about seven feet tall, with a base of about eight foot square. On the top of this structure is a flag pole that is about eight foot tall, that flies the American Flag.
On the front there are two plaques and one plaque on the back.
Either side is faced with brick.
