Hall-Bryan VFW Post 10132 is located at 6101 SE Dixie Hwy between Stuart and Hobe Sound, adjacent to Seabranch Preserve. Outside the VFW hall is a memorial display to the five branches of the US military, local veterans, donors, and past commanders of this VFW post and its Ladies Auxiliary. The memorial flies the flags of the United States, Florida, VFW, and POWs.
The memorial also includes a pair of M2A1/M101A1 105mm howitzers. This type of howitzer is best known for it's service in World War II, but also was used in the Korean War and Vietnam War.
I didn't see any plaque or sign indicating the service dates of these howitzers. I was able to identify them due to my own knowledge of military equipment, which was confirmed by a WW2 Marine veteran I met at the site.
